The process starts with us visiting your site to evaluate your needs and providing you with a no obligation proposal.
After receiving the signed and accepted proposal, we schedule our Colorado Licensed Professional Engineer for a site visit to draw up plans that can be taken to the City to obtain a building permit. (Which usually takes 2-3 weeks from the time we receive the proposal until we can get the installation started)
WHEN THE WORK BEGINS
We typically show up at 8:30 am on the day the work starts, the first thing we do is mask off the inside work area with plastic, and moving blankets to contain dust to the work area
Next we lay down plywood
to protect your grass, and begin excavation, and soil haul off
After the excavation is complete we fire up our saw, and cut the opening. The saw allows us to do all of the cutting from the outside, which keeps water and dust out of your home
Once the concrete is removed we install our aluminum frame and integrated well.
Then install your premium Low-E Vinyl Low-E window, and Seal the outside, to complete the zero maintenance exterior.
After the window is installed we install the inside extension jambs, and trim, and is ready for the owner to putty and paint (that's the one thing we don't do, PAINT).
Once the window well is installed, we backfill and grade around the new well, making sure there is plenty of drainage away from your new window.
We then remove the plastic from the inside, and vacuum the work area, as well as rake the outside work area.
THE ENTIRE PROCESS TYPICALLY TAKES 4-5 HOURS PER WINDOW (times are longer with timber wells)
